“Toy Story Mania!” was opened in American Waterfront of Tokyo DisneySea on July 9th 2012.

Because it is an attraction of Pixar’s popular film “Toy Story”, so it was gathering many attentions and interests before it opened, but Disney wasn’t happy enough, so they started bold advertising strategy.

That advertising strategy is “subway-jack”.

Advertisement of “Toy Story Mania!” was tightly posted inside the subway of Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and Marunouchi Line.

The time it jacked was from June 20th to July 20th 2012.

Advertisement that hanged in the train and advertisements inside the train was all “Toy Story Mania!” advertisement and the traps changed to “quoits ring” that imaged the attraction.

The straps that usually colored white and in triangle shaped, but because it changed to red, blue, and yellow and circular shape, so many people started to use the subway. It became popular by people taking picture of it or tweet on twitter.

May be because of the expanding effect, marvelously “Toy Story Mania!” had 500 minuets waiting time after it opened.

Disney takes the scale to next level even it is advertisements.
