【tdr0039】 That character in “Toy Story 3” had debuted in another movie?

“Toy Story 3” is a concluding episode of the popular Toy Story series, the full-CG animation film, produced by Pixar Animation Studios. It was released on June 18, 2010 in the U.S., and on July 10, 2010 in Japan.

In this film, a pink, strawberry-scented teddy bear “Lots-O’-Huggin’ Bear” appears for the first time in the series. He has a very important role in the story. Although he appeared in Toy Story 3 for the first time in the Toy Story series, he had actually debuted in another film.

The film he debuted was “Up”, which was released on December 5, 2009 in Japan (May 29, 2009 in the U.S.). It was around nine months before he appeared in Toy Story 3.

Then, where can we spot the Lots-O’-Huggin’ Bear in the film? After Carl’s house flies, we see a little girl who looks surprised. In her bedroom, at the lower left of the scene, we can see the Lots-O’-Huggin’ Bear. It should be very difficult to find him unless told so.

By the way, in Toy Story 3, there is a postcard from Carl and Ellie from the movie “Up” in Andy’s room. Having these two films linked with each other in this secret way… Disney’s and Pixar’s playful spirit is really impressive.
