【tdr0442】The way to distinguish the “Tweedledum and Tweedledee”

“Alice in Wonderland”, which is animated film released on July 28th 1951 in United States of America and August 19th 1953 in Japan.

This film was created, because Walt Disney was interested in the novel of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”, which was written by Lewis Carroll.

So, in this film strange twins named “Tweedledum and Tweedledee” that cannot tell which one is which.

They have same height, same face, same red cap with flag, and same blue bow tie. You may think you will never get to know which one is which, because they just look the same, but there is one way to know.

The way to know is the embroidery on the left side of white collar.

There is stitch with black thread says “Dee” and “Dum”. Although, it is hard to see that big blue bow tie is in the way. So, when distinguishing you will be needed to judge with last alphabet like “e” or “m”.

By the way there is no embroidery alphabets in anime, so you won’t be able to distinguish.

You can only tell which one is which at Disney parks.

It would be great to say hello to them after confirming their names.
